Religious Education Ministry aims to facilitate and maximize the spiritual growth of the faithful, to educate them in conscious participation in the Holy Sacraments, and to encourage them to active service in their daily lives.

An important objective of the Religious Education Ministry is working on the strategic development of catechetical ministry and its implementation in the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia. This strategy would be developed following the UGCC pastoral program “The Hope to Which the Lord Calls Us” as well as the pastoral program “The Vibrant Parish - a Place to Encounter the Living Christ”.

The Religious Education Ministry develops and coordinates programs of catechist formation, evangelization, and catechesis in the Archeparchy while working on providing necessary tools and materials for the formation and development of catechetical ministry in the parishes of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia.
