“Catechetical Sunday” 2018

“Catechetical Sunday” –weekend of September 15-16, 2018

“Catechetical Sunday” is an annual observance in parishes throughout the United States as the instruction of students resumes in parishes. New and returning students, new and returning catechists gather as the parish offers special prayers asking God to grant to His servants, our students, our teachers, and ourselves the grace to grow in our communion with Him, as we continue our lifelong journey of knowing, loving and serving Him in this life. Please keep them in your prayers, encourage the students and their parents in their studies, and ask God’s enlightenment upon them and those who accepted the responsibility to teach them the Way of Our Lord.
