Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Melrose Park celebrated a patronal feast

On March 27, 2022, the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Melrose Park held a Divine Liturgy with the participation of Metropolitan Borys Gudziak, Rev. Ihor Bloshchynskyy, pastor of the parish of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Fr. Volodymyr Radko and Deacon Andriy Rubel on the occasion of a patronal feast.

“Annunciation in Ukraine means – good news, good message. Our Lord comes to our lives and takes our sins and enters into death”,  Metropolitan Borys Gudziak noted.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Fr. Ihor thanked the Metropolitan for the visit: “Dear Archbishop, thank you for your presence, for your prayers, for the profound words of your sermon. We entrust you, Most Reverend Bishop, under the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may she protect and guide you throughout your episcopal ministry. ”

The solemn part of the celebration of the temple holiday ended with the consecration of the Church sign and the festive dinner.
