“Heart to Heart” Banquet to be held in Washington, DC

Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak will be welcomed to the greater Washington region on Thursday, June 6, 2019, with Vespers celebrated at 5:30 p.m. (open to the public) followed by a banquet (tickets required) beginning at 6:30 p.m.  All of these events will take place at the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family, 4250 Harewood Road NE, Washington, DC 20017.  These events are open to the public.

We invite you to come and celebrate with Metropolitan-Archbishop Borys Gudziak, with the distinguished participation of Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk during a cocktail reception and banquet.

The banquet is being held for three important purposes:

  1. To welcome the newly enthroned Metropolitan-Archbishop Borys Gudziak;
  2. To celebrate the creation of the new Ukrainian Church Studies Center within the Institute of Eastern Christianity at Catholic University of America;
  3. To honor Most-Reverend Basil Losten, bishop-emeritus of the Eparchy of Stamford, for his benevolent endowment for the Ukrainian Church Studies Center.
