On May 26 via Zoom, leaders of Ukrainian organizations throughout the US met with Archbishop Borys and the priests who recently arrived from Ukraine to serve in the Philadelphia Archeparchy. The priests and their families learned about the activities, goals, and plans of the various organizations.
Participants of the meeting included teachers, the director of the Ukrainian Heritage School, members of Plast Scouting, representatives of Ukrainian financial institutions, and various other non-governmental organizations.
During the meeting, Archbishop Borys announced that in the coming months, three additional priests from Ukraine have agreed to join the Philadelphia Archeparchy.
The participants of the meeting agreed that Ukrainian organizations need more involvement from the clergy and welcomed participation of newcomers in the projects and initiatives launched by the Ukrainian community.
