Сhildren's and Youth Camp Organized by the Religious Society of Ukrainian Catholics "Saint Sophia" and the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Philadelphia

June 26, 2023, marked the start of a children's and youth camp organized by the Religious Society of Ukrainian Catholics "Saint Sophia" in cooperation with the sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Philadelphia. The theme of the camp: "Faith, Hope, Love", virtues that camp participants had an opportunity to explore more deeply and reflect on their implementation into practical life in the 21st century. The coordinator of the camp was Iryna Ivankovych, the catechists were Sr. Francuska Sablij, OSBM, Hanya Dovhaniuk and seminarian Bohdan Vasilik.

During the week, 31 children had the opportunity to deepen their spirituality, values, learn, develop and have time for communicating with friends and games. A major role in organizing the spirit of the camp was entrusted to 10 animators who, during the year, underwent training at the Religious Society "Saint Sophia" and had a good understanding of leadership, organization of time and leisure.
