St. Nicholas School, Minersville, PA  Participates in Soup-er Bowl on Friday, Feb. 11

As part of our Jersey Day Celebration of the Super Bowl, students of St. Nicholas School in Minersville, PA were asked to bring  a can of food to be donated to local food pantries as part of the  National Soup-er  Bowl of Caring program to fight hunger.

The students participated whole-heartedly and donated 180 cans of food.  The school will be registered in the National Soup-er Bowl of Caring participant registry of schools for 2022.

The parish also added to the students’ donations as they came to church on Feb. 12-13 weekend.
