Stations of the Cross for Ukraine

During this year's Lenten season, many Christians around the world participate in a seasonal service that helps them further prepare for the coming of Easter by remembering Christ’s passion and how God continues to suffer with the people of Ukraine today. This past Sunday, together with Sr. Veronica, Sr. Trijtsia, Sr. Svitanku, Rev. Ivan Turyk was honored to pray for those affected by the war in Ukraine and to preach during the Stations of the Cross at St. Nicholas Parish in Passaic, NJ.  Following the service, the faithful assembled in the church hall, where Sisters Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará (SSVM) shared the story of their religious order and the missionary work they do at Assumption Catholic church and a school in Perth Amboy, NJ.
