An anonymous benefactor has committed to matching every dollar donated for the Philadelphia Reporting and Benefit Event on October 5, up to $100,000, for the "Healing of the Wounds of War in Ukraine Fund." This matching gift will be activated if the Archeparchy’s annual Reporting and Benefit Event in Philadelphia (to be held on October 5 at 5:30) successfully raises an equal amount—$100,000—to support the Archeparchy’s core activities and ministries.
This initiative means that every dollar contributed during the event will have double the effect—fortifying the essential work of the Archeparchy while also providing critical aid to those suffering from the ongoing war in Ukraine.

We are thrilled to announce the venue for our first event in Philadelphia on October 5th at the Cathedral Hall on Franklin Street!
The Ukrainian presence in this neighborhood dates back to the late 19th century. If you are a Ukrainian Catholic, you are likely familiar with our beautiful cathedral on Franklin Street, which has welcomed many of us over the years. The current hall at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was constructed in 1965 and blessed on March 20, 1966. Originally designed as a gymnasium for the parochial school, this space can accommodate several hundred people and has served as a vital gathering place for meetings and events hosted by the Archeparchy.
Let's come together to celebrate our community and support the important work of the Archeparchy. Ukrainians have been gathering on Franklin Street for over a century, and we are excited to continue this tradition with you!
Philly Funk Authority will be bringing their vibrant energy to the Archeparchy's Reporting and Benefit Event in Philadelphia. This band is known for their soul and funk covers but they also perform beloved Ukrainian songs like “Chervona Ruta” and “Hutsulka Ksenia”
The dinner will be catered by The Choice Restaurant, Bryn Mawr, a family-owned Ukrainian gem known for its modern European fusion cuisine.
