The Vicar for Clergy serves the Archbishop in those areas that pertain to the personal and professional growth and development of clergy serving in the archeparchy. The ministry is conceived to be holistic in approach, encompassing the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual components of the lives of our clergy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Monitors the pastoral care for and wellness of the clergy
- Coordinates the activities of the clergy assembly
- Oversees the functions generally called “human resources,” relating to clergy of the archeparchy
- Serves as advocate for clergy and liaison with the archeparchial curia and offices
- Serves as a resource to eparchial staff in clergy-related matters
- Oversees the work of Ongoing Formation
- Assumes any other task or responsibility as delegated to him by the Archbishop
