Planned Giving

Qualified Charitable Distribution (“QCD”)

If you are an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) owner, you can use your required minimum distribution to support the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia through a QCD, potentially avoiding income tax and tax penalties.

Donor Advised Fund (“DAF”)

Recommend your donor advised fund (e.g., Fidelity Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, etc.) to support the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia with your gifts.

Donations of Securities

You can support our mission by contributing stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, often with favorable tax benefits.

Bequest

  • A bequest is a charitable gift made through a will or trust.
  • Suggested wording for a bequest is as follows: “I give and bequeath to the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, located in Philadelphia, PA, __% of the residue of my estate [or the sum of $______].”
  • Contact your attorney or estate executor to create a bequest to the Archeparchy of Philadelphia.

Get Involved

Volunteering

  • Organize a fundraising campaign in your company, organization, neighborhood or school in support of our initiatives or projects.
  • Volunteer at the Good Samaritan Pantry or assist us during the Archeparchy's events.
