“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…”
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
God communicates His life to us and calls us to share His love with one another. At Christmas, which we are preparing to
celebrate, we witness the most tender, subtle, and powerful expression of this divine communication: God becomes one of
us. God entrusted to humanity His only Begotten Son, that we might know His love and share in His life.
Created in His image and likeness, we are also called to communicate—to share the Evangelion, the Good News the Lord
has entrusted to us. We communicate to be together, foster unity, and strengthen our identity.
For our Church—facing mortal danger under Russian aggression—communication is also a means of defending our dignity
and God-given freedom.
The Archeparchy of Philadelphia joined the mission of spreading the Good News, defending freedom, strengthening unity,
and cherishing identity in 1940 with the launch of The Way newspaper. Since then, communication tools have evolved
dramatically — and The Way itself has transformed into a digital newsletter — yet the mission remains unchanged: to
proclaim the truth of the Gospel and to amplify the voice of our Church and our people.
We work to connect people across five states and Washington, D.C., bringing them together as one family of faith. We
work to unite all the faithful of our US Metropolia and all people of good will open to our message. And it is working! We
have so many signs of American, especially Catholic, solidarity with our cause.
We strive to serve with care and professionalism, while being mindful of the resources of the Archeparchy and its parishes.
Our chancery team takes pride in reducing expenses by using in-house resources for graphic design, video editing, and
photo editing. Creating our content aimed to inform, inspire, unite, and engage we seek to be cost efficient yet there are
expenses we cannot avoid.
To share our message from today’s digital pulpit, we rely on creative and technical professionals, websites, hosting services,
design and media tools, and essential equipment — microphones, cameras, and more. We depend on people, expertise, and
resources. Above all, we depend on those who understand how vital communication is for the life of the Church and who
wish to see it flourish.
Your support and generosity enable us to continue our mission with dedication and effectiveness, ensuring that the voice of
our Church and our people is heard.
We also invite your active involvement — this is your Church, your Archeparchy. Help us share its message: engage and
co-create, subscribe and follow, contribute your time, talent, and financial support.
With your gift, the Church can speak clearly, confidently, and joyfully in today’s world.
