Report Abuse by Anyone Except a Bishop

Call the Victim Assistance Coordinator (VAC) to report abuse (current or past) by anyone except a bishop: Sister Natalya Stoczanyn, SSMI, (845) 709-0769. This could include a priest, deacon, religious brother or sister, or layperson. Please also contact the police.

Report Abuse or Misconduct by a Bishop

Contact the Catholic Bishop Abuse Reporting service (CBAR) to report abuse or misconduct (current or past) by a bishop: 1-800-276-1562 or reportbishopabuse.org.

• hotline or a substitute for contacting law enforcement.
• If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency
• responders immediately.
• If the report includes abuse of a minor, call the police immediately.
• After contacting law enforcement, please contact CBAR when you are ready.

The Archeparchy of Philadelphia will comply with all applicable civil laws with respect to the reporting of allegations of sexual abuse of minors to civil authorities and will
cooperate in their investigation. In every instance, the Archeparchy will advise and support a person’s right to make a report to public authorities.
