      Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak Attended the Opening of an Icon Exhibition by Renowned Ukrainian artist Lev Skop at the Ukrainian National Museum

      Chicago, IL — October 15, 2025. Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak attended the opening of an icon exhibition by renowned Ukrainian artist Lev Skop at the Ukrainian National Museum.

      The event celebrated Skop’s remarkable contribution as an iconographer, volunteer, and teacher whose work reflects the spiritual depth and creative soul of Ukraine.

      Metropolitan Borys opened the evening together with clergy and museum representatives, emphasizing the importance of honoring artists who unite faith and culture through beauty and service.

      The exhibition presents a collection of Lev Skop’s icons that testify to both his artistic mastery and profound spiritual vision.

      The icon of Saint John by Lev Scop was presented at the silent auction in Whippany NJ.
