Metropolitan Borys Gudziak visited Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA

On April 24, 2022, Metropolitan Borys Gudziak celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA.

«If we believe in Resurrection we know how the story ends. Look at that power and grace of God that has been manifested in Ukraine. David is standing against Goliath. Our people are defending the innocent, protecting their homes, giving their lives, and not fearing death. Because they believe in the internal life. We are privileged to be a member of this family, where our brothers and sisters stand strong and overcome their fear. They know that they have God given dignity. Let us stay close to this example, let us stay close to the victory of God”, stated Metropolitan Borys Gudziak during his homily.

The Divine Liturgy also included the baptism of two girls– Ann-Gina and Nora-Marie. Metropolitan encouraged all present to check the date when they received the Holy Sacrament of Baptism and to celebrate this day as the greatest holiday – the birth into eternal life.
