Metropolitan Borys Ordains Two Subdeacons at Saints Joachim and Anna Parish in Virginia

On January  26, the parish of Saints Joachim and Anna, Front Royal, Virginia, was filled with joy and celebration as Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak celebrated  a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and called Kyle R. Hayes and David M. Wallace to receive the Minor Orders of Candle-bearer, Reader, Cantor, and Subdeacon. The ordinations took place before the Liturgy.

In his homily, Metropolitan Borys emphasized the importance of community and the need for new vocations, which are vital for the life of the Church. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the newly ordained subdeacons David and Kyle, and each one's family, for their dedication and readiness to serve, highlighting their commitment as a source of inspiration for the faithful of the parish and the Archeparchy of Philadelphia.

After the Liturgy, the celebration continued with a festive luncheon, where the community gathered together to share in the joy of the day. It was a moment of fellowship and thanksgiving, strengthening the bonds of faith and communion within Shenandoah Valley's vibrant parish.
