Mothers in Prayer online meeting

June 19, Community Leaders of “Mothers in Prayer” held an online meeting. Participants included leaders from Italy, France, Canada and America. After a long lull from the pandemic the theme of this first gathering was «How the Coronavirus Affected Our Mothers in Prayer Community».

The conversation began with a prayer led by Bishop Andriy Rabiy, and the meeting was conducted by Ms. Iryna Dorosh, Assistant to the Chair of the Mother in Prayer Community at St. Michael’s Parish in Jenkintown, PA. During the meeting head of the community Mothers in Prayer of America, Lesia Muraschuk, read a letter of greeting from Bishop Paul Patrick Chomnycky, OSBM.

Participants shared experiences of online prayer and activities during a pandemic. For example, during the quarantine, assistance to soldiers and the needy in Ukraine did not stop.

In conclusion, Bishop Andriy thanked the Mothers for their fervent prayers, adding that the heart of the parish is the Mothers in Prayer Community.
