Rector of Lviv Theological Seminary, Fr. Ihor Boyko, Visits Philadelphia to Reconnect with Seminary Alumni Serving in the Archeparchy

The Rector of the Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit, Father Dr. Ihor Boyko, visited Philadelphia as part of his trip to the USA, during which he is meeting with the priests who are alumni of the seminary in Lviv.

"My heart is filled with great joy because these days I had the opportunity to meet many alumni of the Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, who are currently fulfilling their pastoral ministry in America," Father Ihor wrote on his Facebook page.

Graduates of this seminary serve in our Archeparchy. During his brief visit, Fr. Ihor had the opportunity to meet with Father Ostap Mykytchyn, who serves at St. Michael’s Parish in Jenkintown; Father Ruslan Borovyi, who oversees St. Nicholas Parish in Philadelphia; Father Andriy Chornopyssky, who recently started working at St. Michael’s Parish in Cherry Hill; and Father Volodymyr Radko, who is the secretary of Metropolitan Borys and the Director of Vocations for the Archeparchy.

Father Ihor Boyko also had a short meeting with the staff of the chancery and shared with them the activities of the seminary during the war, particularly the missionary trips with seminarians to the east.
