Sisters and Youth from Perth Amboy Attend IVE Meeting 2026 in Dallas

From July 8 to 12, 2026, sisters of the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará serving at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Perth Amboy participated in IVE Meeting 2026 together with members of the parish youth group. The five-day gathering of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word was held at the University of Dallas in Texas.

Held under the theme “Family, Become What You Are,” this year’s gathering brought together priests, religious brothers and sisters, lay members of the Third Order, and parish families from throughout the Province of the Immaculate Conception. The Perth Amboy delegation included Mother Veronica, Sr. Maria of the Trinity, and Sr. Maria of Svitanok, along with several young parishioners.

The program combined spiritual formation, conferences, and practical workshops with Divine Liturgies, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and opportunities for fellowship. Sessions designed specifically for young participants addressed vocational discernment, spiritual warfare, the Christian understanding of freedom, and the responsible use of leisure time.

IVE Meeting offered participants an opportunity to deepen their faith, renew their spiritual lives, and experience the unity of the wider Religious Family of the Incarnate Word. The gathering also encouraged them to bear witness to Jesus Christ in their daily lives through faith, hope, and charity.
