Ten Children Receive First Confession and Holy Communion at SS Joachim and Anna Ukrainian Catholic Church

On Thomas Sunday, the parish of Saints Joachim and Anna in Front Royal, Virginia, celebrated a special and solemn occasion — the First Confession and Holy Communion of ten children. This joyful milestone became a profound spiritual event for the entire parish community.

Following the Divine Liturgy, parishioners gathered for a festive Paschal meal, further strengthening the bonds of our church family. May the hearts of the children who received the Holy Mysteries for the first time be fertile soil for God's grace.

The youngest parishioners also shared joy with a traditional Easter egg hunt, filling the day with laughter and colorful memories.
