From September 10 through 12, the Advisory Council for the Administrative Committee (ACAC) of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) held its semiannual meeting in Washington, D.C.
Sofia Zacharczuk, Chief of Staff to Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak, serves on the Council. This was her second meeting since her appointment, and her term runs through 2029.
The Council is composed of representatives from all 15 regions of the USCCB and advises the Administrative Committee.
On Saturday, September 12, Council members began the day with Mass celebrated by Bishop William Koenig at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
The next meeting of the ACAC is scheduled for March 2027.
