Zhyve.tv will broadcast a documentary «From Heart to Heart» on the occasion of the first anniversary of the enthronement of Metropolitan Borys Gudziak

On Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 12 PM EDT Zhyve.tv will broadcast a short documentary “From Heart to Heart” about the Week of Prayer, Celebration, Unity and Mission, which took place on June 2-9 2019 in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

One year ago, Archbishop Borys Gudziak was enthroned as Metropolitan Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in America at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, celebrated the Divine Liturgy which was the apex of a week of activities titled the “Heart to Heart: Prayer, Celebration, Unity and Mission”. The events were attended by over 50 bishops, more than 100 priests and several thousand faithful from across the United States, Europe and Ukraine. “From Heart to Heart”captures the experiences, emotions, reflections and events that occurred during the Heart to Heart Week including the Youth Day, the conference at the Catholic University of America, and the encounter of religious and clergy.

“This documentaryis a mosaicof encounters that happened during the Heart to Heart Week. During that week, people of different origins, ages, and spiritual needs had a chance to encounter each other in a unique way. It was a meeting of people from the different worlds I lived in and served at different times. But first and most of all, this is a story about how we prepared ourselves for the feast of the descent of the Holy Spirit”, said Metropolitan Borys Gudziak.

You can watch the documentary live on the Youtube channel of the Zhyve TV, as well as on its Facebook page, which will be live streaming the Ukrainian version of the film. For English speakers, the English version of the movie will be available through the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia.
