Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova and Archbishop Borys Gudziak of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia appeared at a National Press Club Newsmaker event on Tuesday, March 15. They discussed the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Ukraine during the Russian invasion. The Ambassador and the Archbishop also discussed their offices’ activities and how the American public can assist the Ukrainians defending their land.
