Archeparchy of Philadelphia Takes Part in Film Event on Ukraine in Ridgewood, NJ

On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia joined Fernando Ramirez, founder of NGO Bridges 2030, for a screening of the documentary film Beyond the Statistics – Amplifying the Voices of Ukraine. Produced by Bridges 2030 International, the film highlights the personal journeys of forcibly displaced Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Philadelphia due to the full-scale invasion by Russia. 

Following the screening, Marta Rubel, Social Outreach Director of Archeparchy of Philadlphia was invited to participate in a panel discussion on the film and the war in Ukraine. 

The event was hosted by the Ridgewood Public Library in New Jersey in conjunction with the Reel Voices Film Festival and the TEEEM | Bridges 2030 Ukraine Initiative. (TEEEM—The Empathy, Equality, Entrepreneurship Mission—is a non-profit which partners U.S. students with underserved communities worldwide).
