Father Edward N. Levandusky, 79, a retired priest of our archeparchy, fell asleep in the Lord

Bishop Andriy sadly informs you that Father Edward N. Levandusky, 79, a retired priest of our archeparchy, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, December 1, 2018.   Father Levandusky was ordained on April 10, 1965 and served the faithful until his retirement in 2010.

His funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 101 Lehigh Street, Palmerton, Pa. by Bishop Andriy and his brother priests. All clergy are invited to participate.

His body will lie in repose on Thursday evening in St. Vladimir’s Church, from 6 pm until 8 pm. Priestly Parastas will be sung at 7 pm.  All clergy are invited to participate.

On Friday morning, his body will lie in repose  from 10 am until the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 11 am.

Please remember +Father Edward in your prayers and may Our Lord grant priest +Edward rest in the bosom of Abraham, may he be numbered among the saints and may his memory be eternal.  Vichnaya Pamyat.
