Knights of Columbus Support New Priests in Archeparchy

On Wednesday, November 3, members of the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus met with Metropolitan Borys to offer a check to support the mission of the new priests who came from Ukraine in May through June of this year. Archbishop Borys thanked them for their constant support of the Archeparchy’s different initiatives and of the whole Ukrainian Catholic Church.

In gratitude to the Knights of Columbus, Carl Anderson, former Supreme Knight, was conferred the Metropolitan Sheptycky Order in Sloatsburg, NY on August 15 during the Sister Servants’ Marian Pilgrimage. The Order of Metropolitan Sheptycky is the highest award in the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Also, Mr. Anderson recently visited Kyiv and met with Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church.
