Metropolitan Borys Gudziak Visits “The Little Prince” Exhibition in Rome
On July 10, the art exhibition The Little Prince opened at the Museo delle Civiltà in Rome. Among the first visitors was Metropolitan Borys Gudziak. The project was presented by the Lviv-based ZAG Gallery with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of Italy.
ZAG galery commemorates Zenovii Kozytskyi, a student of the Ukrainian Catholic University who died of cancer a year ago. “Soon it will be a year since my son Zenyk passed. But he lives on in memory, in his friends, his family, and in the ZAG gallery,” said Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration and father of Zenovii. “This project is not only about art. It is about memory, pain, love, and responsibility. About the strength of Ukrainian culture and the voice that resonates throughout the world!”
The exhibition is dedicated to Ukrainian children — those taken by war, those who remain in occupation or captivity, those forced to flee their homes, and those growing up in Ukraine today.
The exhibit features works by renowned Ukrainian artists including Ivan Marchuk, Vlada Ralko, Oleh Tistol, Serhiy Savchenko, Arsen Savadov, and others.
The exhibition is open through September 21 as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC). Location: Museo delle Civiltà (MUCIV), Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, 8, Rome.
