Metropolitan of Philadelphia visits Saint Joseph’s Adults Care Home in Sloatsburg, NY

On Friday, May 28, Metropolitan Borys celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Saint Joseph’s Adult Care Home in Sloatsburg. It was the first time in over a year that the Archbishop had a chance to visit and pray with the residents and the Sisters Servants. In his homily, Metropolitan Borys wished to everyone “the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit.” He also thanked the Sisters for their dedicated service and for keeping all residents safe during the COVID pandemic.

Particular greetings were extended to Mr. Lubomyr Romankiw, one of the residents, who recently celebrated his 90thbirthday. Metropolitan thanked him for his active involvement in the life of the Ukrainian community in the United States, particularly for serving as a chief scout for Plast.
