Third annual Centralia church pilgrimage marked by large turnout

THE THIRD ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE AT ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, CENTRALIA, PA WAS HELD ON AUGUST 26, 2018. 

CENTRALIA — The third annual “Call to Prayer” pilgrimage at the 106-year-old Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Centralia, PA was well attended on Sunday afternoon with an estimated crowd of over 500 visitors.  Four Bishops participated in the pilgrimage: Bishop Andriy Rabiy, Apostolic Administrator of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia; Bishop John Bura, Auxiliary Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia; Bishop Kurt Burnette, Bishop of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic; and Bishop Ronald Gainer, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg.
