Lenten Retreats

During the past two weeks, Lenten Retreats were held at the parishes of Saint Josaphat Church in Trenton, New Jersey, St. Michael the Archangel in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, and at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia.

The retreatant was Father Mykhailo Dymyd, author of books, chaplain of the Maidan and lecturer of the Ukrainian Catholic University.

On June 21, 2022, Father Mykhailo, together with his wife Ivanka Krypyakevich-Dymyd, a well-known icon painter, said goodbye to 27-year-old Hero Artem Dymyd - their son who died in the war, in a battle near Donetsk from mortar fire. Father Mykhailo is a profound theologian who has much life experience, which is why his retreat studies were so timely in the parishes of our Archeparchy.

On Sunday, March 19, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia during two Divine Liturgies, the last Lenten lectures by Fr. Mykhailo Dymyd will be held. We invite everyone to participate.
