“Thanksgiving Cross” travels the Archeparchy

From November 2 to November 8, 2021, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia is hosting the Thanksgiving Cross. Then, from November 10 to 14, the Cross will be at Saint Michaels Ukrainian Catholic parish in Jenkintown, PA (Schedules below)

Pope John Paul II blessed the Cross and initiators of the “Thanksgiving Cross” pilgrimage mission on March 10, 2004 at the Vatican. Later the Cross was blessed by Popes Benedict XVI and Francis. The mission is dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (33-2033) and is designed to visit all the capitals of the world.
