St. Nicholas Parish to Celebrate 120th Anniversary

Join St. Nicholas Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in St. Clair, Pennsylvania, as the parish celebrates the 120th anniversary of its founding on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

The celebration will begin with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at 12:00 p.m., presided over by Metropolitan-Archbishop Borys Gudziak, followed by a catered luncheon at 4:00 p.m. in Saint Nicholas Hall, Minersville.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Divine Liturgy. Those wishing to participate in the anniversary luncheon are invited to register in advance. The cost is $50 per adult, while children under 10 attend free.

Please note that luncheon registration forms must be mailed by August 31, 2026.

St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Baltimore, Maryland, will celebrate the 50th Annual Baltimore Ukrainian Festival on September 12-13, 2026, at 2401 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, MD 21224.

The parish warmly invites everyone to join in celebrating this special anniversary and experience two days of Ukrainian traditions, fellowship and hospitality.

🚗 St. Cyril’s 3rd Annual Car Show

Join SS. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Olyphant, PA, for its 3rd Annual Car Show on Sunday, September 20, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This year’s event will include a memorial salute to Gibby Carozzi.

Cars, trucks, and motorcycles are invited to participate. The afternoon will also feature trophies, door prizes, basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, a gas card raffle, food available for purchase, and music by Stevie Ray Entertainment.

St. Nicholas Parish in Passaic

New Mission of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate at St. Nicholas Parish in Passaic

Glory be to Jesus Christ! In the summer of 2026, the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate (SSMI) began a renewed mission of service at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic, New Jersey. Sr. Kathleen, Sr. Cecelia, and Sr. Tekla desire to walk alongside our parishioners, strengthen our faith, support our families, and bring the love and compassion of Christ to those who need it most.

Their ministry will extend beyond the walls of the church as they become more deeply involved in the everyday life of our parish family. One of the principal areas of their mission will be Catechetical Ministry. In addition to preparing children for First Confession and Solemn Holy Communion, the Sisters plan to expand catechetical education to older children and provide opportunities for continued spiritual and faith formation for high school students and young adults.

The Sisters will also help organize Prayer Groups, Scripture Study, and Scripture Sharing, providing opportunities for parishioners to deepen their relationship with God and to pray together for our families, our parish, Ukraine, and all those in need. An important part of this mission will be the St. Nicholas Visitation Ministry (Sunshine Club). Together with parishioners, the Sisters will reach out to the sick, elderly, homebound, and those experiencing loneliness, bringing them prayer, encouragement, friendship, and the loving presence of Christ. The Sisters will also seek opportunities for Youth and Family Ministry, helping our young people grow in their faith and discover that the Church is truly their spiritual home.

This renewed mission is not simply the work of the Sisters. It is an invitation to our entire parish family to build a stronger, vibrant, and prayerful community together — a parish where children grow in faith, young people find their place in the Church, families pray together, the sick and elderly are cared for, and no one feels forgotten or alone. We entrust this renewed mission to the loving protection of the Most Holy Mother of God. May she guide the Sisters in their ministry and help our entire parish family continue to grow in faith, hope, prayer, and Christian love.

We warmly welcome the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in this renewed mission and invite all our parishioners to support them through prayer, participation, and cooperation.
